“Will this reach my other building 300 ft away through trees? I need to reach my other building about 300 ft away(2.4ghz). I would have it in the window at the far edge of the house and the signal would have to reach the other building about 300 ft away. About 100 feet in between would be trees(evergreens so fairly dense. The other 200 ft would be clear open space. Would this router reach this far with enough speed? I can set up a range extender in the other building.”

Maybe but, in my experience, unlikely. We have it in the basement near a window. Barn is about 50 feet away (single bay garage and open space between). Coverage is okay near the extender. However, much of the barn has poor coverage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Even if you were able to get a connection 300ft away you would not have very good speeds. One of the biggest downfalls with wireless technology is the speed degrades with distance.
