Has great range in my 2,000 SF house. Eliminated all the dead spots left by my old Motorola N router. This router is known for having great range. That's why I bought it, and it hasn't disappointed me.

Please try again later.Range is always dependent not only on distance but probably more importantly, the materials and number of floors, walls or whatever between your device and the router. I can tell you, it does go through plaster walls, as that is what i have in my house. And it does it better than the old router I had. It might not go through more than one plaster wall however....

If you can't get internet upstairs Best Buy sells this one with a DST adaptor that you can put upstairs to get you better WiFi coverage.
