• This can not replace a modem. But you can connect it to the modem you already have.

• No. This is a router - not a cable modem. It does not connect to your cable system. You would connect the Comcast modem to this router, turn off the wireless signal on the Comcast router to avoid confusion and use this router for both wired and wireless networking.

• Don't think so! This is just an extender! Which just expand your wifi signal! Doesn't work without a modem
