• No, we only have cell phones as well. Works great.

• I only have a cell phone but I do have an internet provider that hooks up to a modem and then i have the modem plugged into this router.

• For you to use this device to get internet you do need a land line modem of some sort. You can use a wireless router to create an internal network to connect multiple devices, but without a modem you will not have internet.
