It is 4G LTE. It has GSM radio, but not CDMA radio for carrier providers.
I have one from ATT (unlocked) which works on ATT. T-Mobile and my MNVO for calling and internet access,. However, on my MNVO Verizon does not allow WiFi calling although it does for ATT and T-Mobile does.
Don't know if Verizon has WiFi calling limited to only their main unlimited monthly plans they have or not.
My older Verizon phones (unlocked) work fine with it for internet access and WiFi calling on ATT and T-Mobile networks.
Don't know what hotspots work for Verizon since shut down CDMA network and converting to 5G. After 5 years of good coverage we lost our Verizon 4G LTE coverage and have connection problems since September 1, 2022 when Verizon converted to 5G.
