There could be several reasons for your ping: you have a router that isn’t up to speed, a modem that isn’t very happy anymore, a virus, or are being targeted for an attack. Now, the last two are pretty unlikely and it is likely that a router upgrade such as this one would help you in your use case. This router is specifically meant to reduce ping (latency) by systematically choosing the fastest servers closest to you location. This router also is meant to cover a larger area. Based on this you should get faster speeds even further from your router. I hope this helped! And if it doesn’t help with this upgrade hen return it and try replacing your modem.
