The router doesn’t care what service provider you have. It’s purpose is to distribute your internet throughout all your devices wirelessly or wired. What does matter is the modem you use. The modem is the device that has the coaxial cable connection with a single (usually) Ethernet output. The modem converts the signal from your cable to Ethernet by a process called “modulation” hence the name “modem”. Usually, based on your service provider, you must register the MAC address or physical id of the modem to your service provider. This is how they can tell that they are serving the right person the internet that they paid for. Once you have a proper modem that is supported by your service provider (their website will give you their approved list) and have registered it if needed. You then just connect the modem to your router and you have internet throughout your house as soon as you set up some settings on your router (WiFi passwords, channels, frequency etc. )

Please try again later.This will work with spectrum with out any issues I recommend when you set it up that in the setting you turn on ipv6 or you will have issues with the Ethernet ports in the back I’ve had mine for 2 weeks it’s awesome and The Who’s does an amazing job no lag or buffering what so ever
