A WiFi router such as this one is meant to distribute the signal data that you pay for with cox across your house to all your devices. Getting rid of your cox subscription would get rid of what this product is meant for. In short you can’t cancel your cox service and this router is simply to improve what you’re already getting through whatever router you already have, likely a cox supplied router. If you are already getting good WiFi coverage throughout your house then this product is wholly unnecessary. However, if you are getting bad signal coverage in your house with your cox supplied router then this product could likely help and gives you snappier performance with lower latency.
