Our house is only 2000 sq. feet and the Nighthawk now gives us internet from one end to the other, up and down with no problem through 3 or 4 walls and past a refrigerator..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This should do the trick. I have it install in a large building with thick concrete walls and it works at 86% max speed on the other side of the building through a couple main divider walls.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Worth a try, I have 2 internet services. Wish I knew about this product before I got the 2nd service for my house. I am in a different building and I just check and I have full service coming from this product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My distance is less than yours, but the Netgear Nighthawk gives great reception throughout the house and into my separate guest house. It goes through lots of walls.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We were having issues at the other end of the house, not being able to connect to WiFi on our Ipad (through several walls and doors and passed other appliances that interfere with the signal). This solved the problem and it is so easy to install. My parents are in their 80's and are having the same issues, not enough WiFi power at the other end of their house or downstairs. I recommended they purchase this router so it would solve their connectivity issues as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe the Nighthawk Dual-Band wireless-AC router is what I use. I got it specifically for streaming capabilities. I use it on the other side of the house where my older routers gave me problems. I have not had any issues with with wireless strength and it goes through the ceiling and several walls where I use it to stream netflix on my devices. I have not had the need to purchase any extenders.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the router works well for distance. Ours is located upstairs and we can use it on our Smart TV downstairs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The router is in a room on the second floor and reaches the basement succesfully. I just have the router set up in the standard position, might not be using extenders to full capacity. Not sure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your probably going to need to fabricate a directional shield, that would help with distance but through multiple walls will be asking a lot from a consumer router. You may need to turn to some commercial powered direction antenna.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not possible with consumer grade equipment. every wall or physical obstruction the signal has to travel through decrease the range and speed. Repeaters can increase signal strength and range but at a cost of significant lag time since the signal has to be read and then re-transmitted. Your best solution is placing the router at the highest point possible to eliminate as many obstructions as possible or a wired connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
