“Will this work with verizon DSL internet service (not FIOS)?”

• Yes. You can use the Netgear with your DSL. Use the eithernet cable that comes with the Netgear and plug it into your DSL modem. It will greatly improve your Internet. I also had to do the same. I'm also not having to reset the DSL modem like I used to and streaming video had greatly improved along with range.
