• As long as you have an ether net port. It will work with any modem it is just another network device

• Yes, hopefully you have the new DOCSIS 3 Motorola SB6141. You will need it since both Comcast and Verizon will be soon raising everyone's speeds up to 300 Mbps within the next year or so due to streaming demand like Netflix plus they are completing against each other.

• As long as your modem has an RJ-45 for the router to plug into, yes. My motorola modem works with the nighthawk.
