• Yes you can! I did the exact same thing with my spectrum router/modem. It gives step by step instructions to shut off the modem router provided by Comcast and hooks up directly to your modem. The new router becomes your main source for providing wifi and internet. Usually cable company modem/routers are limited or cannot even provide the speed strength they are advertising. You will not be disappointed!
