This router is the up there with one of the best routers you can buy, but the question is what are you going to use it for. Do you have many wireless connected devices in your home operating at the same time? Do you want to hook up a network printer? Do you want to run your own personal NAS for your files? Do you find yourself hosting LAN parties? If your answer is no or huh? to most if not all of these questions then there are probably more economical solutions for you. Also be aware that this is a ROUTER ONLY if you are looking for a router/modem then you will want to take a look at something completely different.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on your usage and distance. I have one in my own personal home and love it. I liked it better than my older netgear. Before I would only get 2.5 to 3 mbps in an area of my home, but with the new netgear nighthawk I get my full speed in the same location. AC routers is the way to either way.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If that is the only thing on your network then most routers will suit your needs, even if it's not most will suit your needs. Just avoid the "valet" routers from linksys, they are very easy to setup but lack security.
