You should be able to with no problem... I piggy-back several routers off my modem. In order to do this simply change the IP address one digit each time. Example, your first IP address will most likely be 192.168.1.1 When connecting your next router, set the IP address to 192.168.2.1 Good luck

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can use this in combination with any modem as long as you are keeping your existing modem. Plug into any of the lan ports on the netgear from lan port of modem. Turn off dhcp on either the modem or netgear and it will serve as just a wireless access point. Give the netgear a static internal IP that differs from your existing modem. In other words don't make it 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
