Yes it does. I use the Nighthawk app and control just about everything in it. If not then use 192.168.1.1 on the Internet and it takes you to the routers entire control page. In the top right you will see on option to set for auto on updates

Please try again later.I was experiencing issues with my newly purchased TP link router which kept giving me interruptions when I used the LAN port and Wi-Fi at the same time. I checked several options and finally decided to give this NETGEAR R7000 AC1900 ROUTER a try as a replacement. I encountered some difficulties during setup when I tried to register and configure the router using my iPhone. Netgear's tech support was great walking me through the steps using my laptop to complete the process in five minutes. The router is absolutely a performer after. I have had no more issues since and both the ethernet ports and WiFi have been running seamlessly at the best performance I could ever expect. I am happy with my choice.
