You would need a modem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it'll work but you still need their router and then use one of the output connections on the Uverse router to the uplink on the new router. On another note, don't buy it from Best Buy. They're about $39 too expensive, have zero customer service skills, and positively no concern whatsoever for the customer.
