I have had the AC1900 for several years and it works great as long as I do not update the firmware. Newer firmware makes the WiFi unusable, all devices keep disconnecting making downloads and conference calls impossible. This has been a known issue for many of these Netgear routers for many years but clearly Netgear is unable to resolve or they do not care. I would seriously look at other brands if I were you.
