The orange lights mean that the devices connected to the router don't support the router's connection speed. This router has 4, 1Gbps LAN ports and 1 WAN Gbps port. So it just means that the modem's connection speed is not being fully utilized. If on the other hand you know for sure your connected devices support Gb connections then there might be a configuration problem. Connected devices that support this connection speed will show up as white lights. If the router shows a red light that means there's a connection error. Hope this helps.

I had to buy an inline box because I had to go through a wall to get to the TV. Ran an Ethernet wire to a wall plug inserted in to a box. Then placed a box behind TV and ran another Ethernet cable from that box which was plugged into a electric wall socket.to TV. Instant TV. Seems it uses house wiring to complete the signal. This box cost another $69.99. But was worth it.
