There are two challenges with what you are trying to do. This device simply pulls in the signal from the router, it doesn't duplicate or broadcast the signal further as your range extender is doing. To get the best results, you would need this USB adapter plugged directly into the Kindle. Since this uses USB 3.0 I'm not sure how you would accomplish that as the Kindle doesn't have a USB 3.0 plug. Second, the suggestion I would make is look at the type of main router you have. If its AC1900 or better, with the spacing you suggest you should be able to get pretty good signal without the range extender.
