If you have DSL, you can likely just replace the AT&T router with this one and plug it directly into the DSL modem. You may need to supply login information to the DSL modem. During the initial setup of the router, it should detect that it is connected to DSL service and prompt you for your login information. If not, you will need to configure the router for DSL so you can enter the username and password for your DSL service. If you are using AT&T Uverse or fiber, you have to keep their router in place. You will just connect this router to one of the Ethernet ports on their router.
