A:AnswerI'm not sure about Hughes Net, we have a cable company internet, but do live in a rural area. I didn't purchase any extenders and this router covers our whole house (2300 sq ft) plus reaches a perimeter outside the house another 30+ ft.
A:AnswerYes. We have a 2-story house and it works great. Get wifi in every room plus the front yard, back yard, and driveway. Haven't tested in garage yet but figure since it goes to these other areas it will go there too. AND it works just as well regardless of location on our property.
A:AnswerI have had the AC1900 for several years and it works great as long as I do not update the firmware. Newer firmware makes the WiFi unusable, all devices keep disconnecting making downloads and conference calls impossible. This has been a known issue for many of these Netgear routers for many years but clearly Netgear is unable to resolve or they do not care. I would seriously look at other brands if I were you.
