Will this work with regular AT&T modem null

Yes it will, route an ethernet cable from the modem RJ-45 port, to the port on the router that is labeled 'Internet' or 'Modem'. Really the only time you have to worry about compatibility is when looking at modems and whether or not that modem works with your provider.

It will work with any modem that connects via 100/1000 Mb/sec Ethernet port.

Should work with any modem that has Ethernet output jack. Not Coax.
