“I have come to the conclusion wifi on this model is not going to cut it. I can be 5-15' from the router or the same from a wired backhaul RBS and not get over 1500Mbps. Now my wired things are 2300 plus Mbps all day long. Anyone tried Eero?”

You have limitations from your actual devices. Just because you have the latest and greatest technology for your router your weakest link is your older device. Additionally your new mesh has better bandwidth for 100-200 devices vs my older mesh has 45. And everything in my home is using WiFi.
