The orbi cannot increase your speed from the ISP. It can however increase your speed if your wireless was the issue. The way I look at it, it is like a garden hose. You cannot increase the water quantity from your utility. It is limited to a certain gallons per minute. However, you can buy a bigger pipe, which will make sure you get 100% of the power that is provided from the utility. This router is the same way. It can't increase the speed coming to your home, but it can assure that you will get around 100% of the speed coming to your home.

If you have multiple devices connected to your current router/AP you may be losing bandwidth from the split needed to share the wireless connection with the multiple devices, if so ORBI would resolve your situation and you would achieve more bandwidth, because collectively ORBI is more robust than most single wireless routers. However it will not give you more bandwidth between you house and your ISP. It can also help resolve any current bandwidth issues you are receiving that may be related to distance. It will give you more bandwidth within your house and use your broadband connection much more efficiently
