If you were to put one of the satellites in the workshop, then one at the closest area to the house, then the hub at the modem, it should work!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my experience, the answer is maybe. We have the main unit in our house and a satellite in our pole barn. The signal doesn't seem to be consistent and the walls seem to shorten the range.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on a number of factors including where in your home the router is placed, subscribed speeds, etc. For greater range, we recommend our RBK50 system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My setup doesn’t require the Orbi Satellites to be that far, so I can’t say for sure. I have found Netgear’s (manufacturer of Orbi) tech support very responsive, I would call them. I can say installing the Orbi system has solved our speed and connection problems. We have a laptop, 2 iPads, 2 iPhones, a wireless printer and 7 Sonos speakers connected to our wi-fi. Before Orbi the iPads wouldn’t stay connected and when they were connected the download speeds were below 10 mbps. Since Orbi no connection problems and download speeds over 35mbps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the 5,000 sq. ft. model. I put both units at the furthest point from my router within my home. Yes I walked out of my house and at least 200 feet away. It worked at that range.
