Q: QuestionDoes this router stop buffering?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes, provided your incoming Internet provider's service is fast and dependable. Orbi with two satellites will give you access to the full bandwidth your provider is offering anywhere in a 3-4k sq. ft. home. If you check both those boxes than you should solve your buffering problems.

Q: QuestionI am looking to but the ORBI AC2200 tri-band mesh 3 pack and I am wondering if it is compatible with my Century Link C1900A modem /router?
Asked by budhess.
- A:Answer Should work just fine. You will want to connect via Ethernet from your modem to the Orbi base station, and follow the setup instructions to connect the satellites. Remember to disable your modem's built in Wifi and place the modem in "Bridge mode" for best results. You should be able to find simple-to-follow instructions for doing so for your specific modem with a quick web search.

- A:Answer Probably not. Most routers and wireless stations are much faster than 10mbps now.. your service provider is what is causing your issues....Sorry.

Q: Questionpoor Wifi in kitchen and poor ATT cell signal. Need to use Wifi calling in house at times on iPhone XR. Does ORbi have built-in controller and automatically switch my phone to the closest satellite where strongest signal strength as I walk around house
Asked by OrbiController.
- A:Answer The Orbi is a mesh device and operates differently than the way we are became used to when setting up routers and signal enhancers. Think of the mesh as as an orb (hence the name) that surrounds your environment. I am using it in a theatre that has areas built from cinder blocks. Under my old router, I would have spots where the signal was weak, and other spots where it was stronger, like you do. With the Orbi, I have found the signal to be pretty consistent regardless of where I am in the theatre. Due to my particular environment, I do experience a little difference in signal strength here and there, but it is so minor as to be negligible. There is a good chance that the Orbi would give you the consistent signal strength you need to conduct WiFi calls anywhere in your house.

Q: QuestionDoes Orbi main unit replace your current WiFi router?
Asked by Pap471.
- A:Answer Yes it does and it will work way better than any router your service provider can offer you. I have spectrum at the highest download speed and their wireless router was no where near as powerful as the orbi.

Q: QuestionCan I plug the AC Orbi AC2200 into a WAN out on my router?
Asked by jimbo.
- A:Answer The ORBI will become your router. You plug the WAN out on your ISP provider's box and into the 'Internet' port on the base unit of the Orbi.
