It is a tri band router. You will have the same 2.4 and 5 GHz signal from all satellites. No ext. names. The third 5ghz signal is for all the satellites to talk to each other without disruption. If you have Ethernet run through the house, you can even hard wire each satellite to the main hubs for even better service.
