If your work is within your home, yes; otherwise, no. The second device is not a router (like the first); rather it is an "extender" which basically clones (and boosts) the #1 router's signal and makes it appear that you have one very strong wi-fi signal throughout the space covered.

Even with packages that have 3 or 4 pieces, only 1 is a router and the others are satellites. Now it may be possible to buy a 4 piece set (1 router and 3 satellites) and a 2 piece (1 router and 1 satellite) of the same models and then use a 1 router/2 satellites combo at each location. That may save you some money if you are wanting to have at least 2 satellites and your locations. But I would verify with support. I think it will work because you can add additional satellites to the systems.
