A:AnswerI bought another 2 pack because it was cheaper than the satellite unit I saw for sale. I added the 2nd satellite with no problem. I want to add the second router as an access point but I haven't done it yet. Netgear has on-line instructions to make a second router act as an access point when you set it up. It will not be capable of functioning as a satellite in the mesh network, but it is supposed to act like a network extension. It should use the same Wifi name password but I haven't tried it yet. Maybe by the middle of October I will be able to try it.
