It really depends on the house wiring and whats on the circuit.

Technically it 1 Gigabit, but with Copper and Distance expect it to drop off from that. More in like with 100 Megabits per a second. Connect up to 8 of these in house outlets.

With the proper location and signal strength you can attain speeds equal to your current ethernet speed up to 1000 mbps.

I get an average of 120mbs and up to 150mpbs.
