The farthest I have mine is 75 feet and works fine, but 200 feet might be stretching it because the more distance = more degrade of the signal strength. - - - You would just have to try it and see for yourself.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should, though I wonder if long run will degrade the signal. For best results, might try plugging into the same circuit-- though it is unlikely an outlet on that circuit exists in the house.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I have an garage apartment that is not attached to the house but the electrical lines do. The key is to find the outlet in the house that is closest to the electrical that runs to your barn. Then plug in to the outlet that appears to be the closest to the electrical lines coming into the barn. My office wifi cable modem router happens to be where the main electrical joins with my house and my apartment lines. It is way farther than 200 feet and the apartment has an ethernet connection that can be given its own router. I also added an extra adapter to a room in my house with a dead zone, without interference to the apartment adapter. I believe the limit is 15 per a connection. This is an easy plug and play product to use.
