That's right. There's a lot of factors that could result in a lag but if this doesn't work then check with your internet provider over the internet speed plans for a possible upgrade.

Please try again later.Hello so once you have one connected to a router the other box is plugged in near your PC and your playstation so you can connect two ethernet cables to each and get great speeds. I have a PC and an ethernet switcher connected to mine so I can connect more to the extender. I never lag on my XBOX and my TV never fails.

Download/Uploads speeds will vary by distance and how much voltage is being used in your house and and the power of your outlets, etc. But essentially, it will take away most, if not all, of the lag you are experiencing. It did that for me 100%. I online game A LOT so this was definitely a very good product to find.
