Xfinity typically includes a all in one modem and router which defeats the purpose of buying a wireless router. Regarding your question, this router will work fine as long as you place your Xfinity modem into bridge mode.

If u have triple play yes...otherwise a cheaper netgesr combo will work. C6250 is a great midel without the phone
