• This router has a repeater mode as well as AP mode. I use the latter for maximum performance throughout the house.

• If your signal is weak with the N750, you're right... You likely need to go back to best buy and purchase a WiFi range extender. They are decently priced, and you can get one made by NetGear. Just follow the instructions carefully while setting it up, sometimes linking the signals can be tricky.

• Any Range Extender will do the job for poor signal. Job Hint: Stay with the same brand, same signal band, and same wireless type. like G or N. And best of all the connection between the initial wireless router and the extender device is by wired LAN or through electrical connection type.
