Turn off your computer. You will have to reboot your modem, turn on your computer and you're set. You will find the Router's login and password on the side of the unit. Once it's installed, you will have to log into that password and login, to connect you smartphone and tablet or ipad.

Follow the directions that come in the box. It even has pictures. Super easy.

Take the provided cable and plug it into the device (usually a cable modem) and the other end into the Netgear. You will probably have to reboot your cable modem.

Read the simple to follow instructions and voila!

Call customer service and they will guide you through the setup.

I just hooked it up to my computer as stated per instructions on the box. You have to get on your internet providers website or call them to see if they accept this router to begin with, might I add.They will help troubleshoot if you are having any issues.

Insert the Ethernet from modem to the WAN port of the router. Log in to router's IP and then configure the router to receive the IP and DNS automatically from ISP. Then set the router as DHCP server and configure WiFi to use a WPA2 encryption. If you're playing games that requires port forwarding, add that port and your computer's local IP to the port forwarding page. This should cover the basics.
