• This is compatible with all wireless protocols. Lag is dependent on a lot of variables. If the device is setup correctly you will get a full wireless signal to devices that are in range. The full wireless signal will only provide the bandwidth and speed available at the configured distance from your wireless router.

• I can’t answer the first part of your question however the second part I can answer YES. It does work with Century Link WiFi.
