• Yes if it is placed in a spot between the router and the smart tv it will work great. It helped my Samsung smart tv.

• Yes it will. We had a very weak Wi-Fi signal in our living room before plugging in this extender. Could not download Hulu or anything else. After setting up the extender, we have downloaded many channels and enjoy watching them all on our Smart Tv.
