• Yes. That is the very reason we purchased this. We have two Xbox One's in the house. The one furthest away from the main router was having signal problems. This solved that problem.

• Should suffice, I have it in my room to use my smartTV and so far it plays videos in HD with no problem. Should work fine for gaming and streaming. Connection shows as excellent in my TV and MacBook

• It would be better to plug in directly to your modem honestly. It would be better to ethernet connect to this extender than wifi definitely though
