“Will it be considered a wireless or wired connection if I plugged my Ethernet cable from my PS4 to the Wi-Fi extender? And would I be able to hook up a Cat.5-E into the port into the extender?”

• PS4 will treat it as a wired connection. It won't be as strong as a real wired connection but mine works better then the wifi.

• The connection will be considered a wired connection. A Cat5e cable would be fine.
