• Yes. I connected mine to my internet via WiFi, then used the ethernet port to connect the extender to my DirecTV box. it works and helped the resolution greatly.

• Yes the WIFI extender has an Ethernet port built in.

• It has a either net port on the unit so if your component works with you through the ports then it should work
