• The quality of the streaming would be more dependent on the speed being provided by your internet service provider. This modem is for VDSL or DSL providers ONLY, and will not be compatible with cable internet. Most service providers recommend a minimum of a 12 meg speed for smooth streaming of video content. If you have multiple devices on your network at a time, a 20 meg speed may suit you better. I wouldn't recommend anything less than a 30 meg speed if you are gaming on the network.
