Isn't this Broadband dsl modem to give the internet??? null

I have AT&T DSL internet service. You have to have a Internet provider such as AT&T, Verizon, and etc. The modem was required with my service and worked with "fast speed DSL" connection.

This modem must be connected to an active internet connection (DSL connection) and the other end to a computer or a router.
