If I have this do I need one from the cable company null

This is a WiFi router only. You still need a modem from your cable or DLS company.

No you do not need to get and extra one if you are connecting it to the computer.

You only need one router for a home network, so if you have this you wouldn't need a router from the cable company. However, you would need a device (aka modem) from the cable company to connect your router and their network. If their device also contains routing capabilities, you don't need both.

Wi-fi no, you will need a modem. Some cable companies supply as part of their service.
