When I signed up for the new laptop set up, I don't remember them asking me about a data transfer - it just said 'without data transfer'. But when the Geek Squad arrived, I asked if he could do the data transfer and he said yes and I paid $60 for him to do that. Maybe you could make sure that when you sign up for the new laptop setup that you specifically ask for the data transfer to be included. It may be that many people know how to do it themselves - but not me!
