“All of the photos show use on concrete and/or hardwood flooring. Are these safe to use on carpet? I'm currently renting and want to use them under exercise equipment. Will black marks be left on the carpet? I don't know if carpet needs to "breathe"?”

I have my wife’s treadmill on top of these and I haven’t seen any black marks on my carpet. Throughout all the applications I’ve used these pads for I haven’t had an issue with marks being left anywhere. Hope this helps!
