If you're referring to the joy-con controllers they are removable on a standard switch but are not removable on the switch light. The standard joy-cons are compatible with switch light however you would need another charging source for them due to not being able to charge them on the console switch light (non removable joycons) Photo of standard switch with joycons removed.
