Hello, The Cabin Camera plugs directly into the side of the front camera. However if the view of the Cabin Camera is being blocked (by the rear view mirror for example), then you can use the Cabin Camera Extender. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, you can not! Next base does not use Mini’s. The connection for the Rear Cabin view needs to be plugged into the side of the main camera. I have my Rear camera cable that came from Nextbase plugged into the camera side only because it is the Original cabling from the ROUND HEAD REAR VIEW MAGNETIC BALL LIKE CAMERA. Hope this helped you out. I’ve had my Nextbase camera for about six months now and I love it so far. Not had to use it yet for any damages and really hope I never have to. It’s just a good piece of mind.
