The Rear Window Camera affixes onto the rear window of your vehicle. It then connects to the front camera using a 6.5 meter cable which can be tucked under your vehicle's internal trim using the provided trim tool. The Rear View Camera plugs straight into the front camera and films the rear view through your car.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit installs on the rear window glass facing rearward for a view of vehicles behind. For Uber or other taxi services, it probably could also be mounted on the front or rear glass aimed toward the passenger compartment, but that really defeats the purpose of viewing/recording tailgaters, distracted or aggressive drivers behind you. If you are more interested in viewing the passenger compartment than behind the vehicle, there are other model dashcams with forward and rear facing lenses built into a single windshield-mounted unit that would probably better serve that purpose.
