Hi Mark. This system uses human detection technology. When human motion is detected your cameras will unpause to show live footage and a recording will be generated. The cameras also have facial capture and you will receive facial capture alerts to your Smart Device when a face is detected. The live video will be unpaused for the duration of the human motion event. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
