No loss of quality as long as you do not splice cables together.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not at a length of 100’. The picture quality is just as good as a 50’ cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have not found that to be a problem, but note that none of the cameras is more than 60-70 feet from the DVR. Speed of internet affects speed of viewing cameras in real time on cell phone, though. Overall very happy with NightOwl camera system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The answer is yes. But can you live with the result? I use Lorex cameras (end user type from Costco or Best Buy and good quality cabling) at 250’ plus with acceptable minimal loss. Over 1000’ a more expensive system “may” be required
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Typically yes, though it depends on the cabling used and how it is connected. For instance, daisy chaining too many BNC cables together will result in a drastically degraded image. For long distances, we recommend purchasing one of our video baluns and using a single Ethernet cable run. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
